Crab Bait is used to catch large Mud Crabs which are plentiful across the Top End coastline (crabs prefer fresh bait/ and remember to anaesthetize your crabs before cooking them by putting them in the freezer or ice slurry until they stop moving.

Crab Bait i.e.: Chicken frames with tuna oil or crab bait mullet (large diamond back mullet).

Bait: Wild-Caught / Chickens sourced from locally approved food distributor (Food Grade).
Bait: Not for human consumption
Origin: Most recreational crabbers focus on creeks and rivers (dry season) but Mud Crabs can also be found on coastal flats, usually adjacent to a creek (wet season).
