Introduction
MasterBait is actively involved in Community Events which help grow the Community. Through active participation and sponsorship we get to know and thank our Community and acknowledge the efforts of others.

- Each Year MasterBait donates its catch from the Coopers Blue Water Classic Weekend to the Food Bank Northern Territory.
- MasterBait actively supports programs that enable others to participate in the sport of fishing.
- MasterBait contributes to local charities and clubs.
- MasterBait sponsors key events in support of fund raising that benefits the community and participates in fishing events that supports local business.
- Other community events include: Dundee Rocks for Kids, Dundee Recreational Club Fishing Competition, Belyun Community Christmas Event, Work Related Community Employment Program with Thammarru Development Corporation under Remote Jobs and Community Program etc.
Fishing Competitions you may see us at are: The Coopers Blue Water Classic, The Darwin Trailer Boat Billfish Competition, The Kakadu Klash, The Secret Women's Barra Challenge, Girls Gone Fishing Competition, Corrobboree Park Challenge, The Barra Nationals, King Ash Bay Fishing Classic, Junior Angler Fishing Classic, Buddy Boats Day (an opportunity for people with disabilities to fish and enjoy the sport of fishing), Brickies Bash - Bynoe Harbour, and so much more if time permits. Beat The Heat (NT)
Previously we have been involved in Beat the Heat NT, an anti street racing strategy designed to encourage young drivers to participate in controlled racing events, designed to break down barriers between local police and young drivers. A program which promotes harm reduction and safety.

Each year hosted by the Palmerston Game Fishing Club (PGFC), the Junior Angler Educational Program also known as the Kids Fishing Clinic is held in Palmerston. It is a one day fishing event whereby 100+ kids from all over Darwin are given the opportunity to learn about the sport of fishing, animal and marine safety. Children aged between 8 and 15 years of age, parents and fishing mentors board buses on route to a prestigious fishing lication. Throughout the day children learn how to tie knots, cast lures and catch barramundi, as well as learning about animals and marine safety.
